Where You’re Supposed To Be is a documentary photo project centred around my father, John and our shared cockney identity.

Since moving out of my parents home, every time I see my father it seems as if he gotten so much older and I find myself worrying a little more about his mortality. What started as an vague plan to take images of my father to memorialize him in years to come, allowed me to re enter my families home for first time first in years and to explore the world I left behind .
Exploring themes such as familial love, identity and connection, I try to capture the complexities of parent/child relationships set in the backdrop of the East End of London.
